Guess the Aircraft
One aircraft. Six guesses. Work it out from your matches.
Connections
Sixteen aircraft. Find four groups of four.
Higher or Lower
Five comparisons. Different aircraft stats. Make your call.
Name Ten
One daily category. Name ten aircraft. Three lives.
About this preview
8 Guess the Aircraft rounds and 2 Connections boards, plus five daily Higher or Lower peer comparisons selected from a 15-aircraft catalogue. Name Ten rotates three categories from a 34-aircraft preview bank. Selections change at midnight UK time; this finite preview bank repeats. Guest progress stays in this browser and is never imported to rankings. Signed-in account games use these same controls and save from your first guess, skip or reveal when you are signed in with a callsign. New callsign runs join the leaderboard automatically when all four are finished. Older private runs keep their original Publish option. This isn't the full launch question bank.
Your saved results will appear here when JavaScript is available.
Name Ten
Name ten aircraft that fit today's category.
- One point per aircraft family. Variants don't count twice.
- Three lives. A recognised aircraft that doesn't fit costs one. Repeating a guess costs nothing.
- Suggestions mix correct and wrong answers. Select a name, then add it.
Same category for everyone until midnight UK time. This preview has 34 aircraft families and three rotating categories. A valid aircraft outside that limited bank won't cost a life; use “Report a dodgy question” if a name is missing. Daily results cannot be restarted.

Guess the Aircraft
Six guesses to identify the aircraft. Each guess compares its original designer, listed role, engine count and first-flight year with the answer.
Green means a match. Arrows point towards the answer; a yellow year is within ten years. First flight uses the family/prototype scope in each profile, not necessarily the named variant. Repeated or unrecognised guesses cost nothing.
The same daily aircraft for everyone, based on the UK date. Guest progress is local to this browser. Playing with your callsign saves moves to your account.
Connections
Select four aircraft with a connection, then submit. Find all four groups before you make four mistakes.
A wrong guess can be one aircraft away. Repeating the same wrong group doesn't cost another mistake. Shuffle as often as you like.
Connections can involve original designers, configurations, engines or names. The bank includes military and civil aircraft. Categories are shown when you solve them.

Higher or Lower
Five comparisons, five different aircraft statistics. Is the value on the right higher or lower?
One point per correct call. The measurements are revealed after each guess.
Same five daily comparisons for everyone. The account bar shows where your progress is saved.
Measurements and sources
Each round names the statistic: wingspan, overall length, maximum take-off weight, published maximum speed or family first-flight year. Exact variants and source qualifications are shown after each answer. Speed uses published mph values, not conversions from Mach. No ambiguous ties, loaded weights relabelled as MTOW or cruise speeds relabelled as maximum speed.
